The Independent Publishers Alliance are happy to announce Steven Filler as a specialist advisor. Steve currently runs the UK business for video specialists ShowHeroes, and after a long and distinguished career in media spanning national press, consumer press and ad tech has joined us in the next stage of The Alliance, where we begin to support the members commercially.
This will support the conversations The Alliance has been having with large media buying agencies who wish to support independent journalism, publishers, quality content and small businesses as well as meet the requirements set by their clients.

Over the rest of this year, with Steve, The Alliance will be investigating the most effective way possible to allow media buyers and agencies to buy advertising with independent publishers. It is clear that the independent publishers need a closer relationship with non endemic advertisers and The Alliance are perfectly placed to facilitate this.
